Ocean Breeze is a synthesis of functional art, design, and architecture created by Persepolis, a best-in-class team of artists, designers, and architects working for over a year to produce a one-of-kind home.
A collaboration between designer Studio Sara Haag, local architect Kobi Karp, and renowned, world-class artists and designers who crafted custom integrated pieces, including a hand-carved front door by woodworker Caleb Woodward, a hand-sculpted double-sided plaster fireplace by ceramist Simone Bodmer-Turner, a chef’s kitchen designed by three-Michelin-starred Chef Joshua Skenes, and a lighting plan by designer Nathan Orsman.

Sara is fascinated with our relationship to scale and immersive sensory spaces that evoke feeling or emotion, which cause us to question or interrogate the very nature of reality. She believes in the power of design to transform the way we see, live, and the world around us.

Kobi Karp has developed expertise in design over the last 20 years, working with a wide range of project types, sizes, complexities, and budgets. KKAID has garnered international acclaim and was selected to spearhead numerous resort projects for developers and builders in South Florida, The Caribbean, and the Middle East.

Her permanent collection of vessels is a timeless, complementary group of curved ceramic forms. They emphasize the power of negative space and are rooted in Meso-American stirrup vessels. She also sculpts at full scale including chairs, and fireplaces which take inspiration from Valentine Schlegel’s work.
